Andrew Timberlake, MD, PhD 
Dr. Timberlake is an expert in deep plane facelift and facial rejuvenation surgery, known in NYC for achieving natural results with rapid recovery. He is an academic plastic surgeon, and has earned both national and international recognition for his research, including prestigious awards from the Plastic Surgery Research Council, the American Association of Plastic Surgeons, and the Northeastern Society of Plastic Surgeons. His PhD thesis work, completed with Rockefeller University President Richard Lifton, identified a novel mechanism of genetic inheritance causing craniofacial conditions, earning him the top thesis prize across all departments at Yale University. To date, his research has discovered more than 30 genes that shape development of the face and craniofacial skeleton, resulting in over 50 publications in the world’s top scientific journals.
